At NOTATION TRENDPLUS PUBLISHING PVT. LTD., we aim to provide quality books and publishing services. This Return & Refund Policy explains the conditions applicable to purchases made through our website.
1. Return of Printed Books
Books may be eligible for return only if:
- The book received is damaged or defective;
- The wrong book has been delivered; or
- The order received is materially different from the order placed.
Customers should contact us within 7 days of delivery with the order details and clear photographs of the damaged, defective, or incorrect item.
Books damaged after delivery due to improper handling by the customer will not be eligible for return.
2. Non-Returnable Items
Returns will generally not be accepted for:
- Books purchased by mistake or after a change of mind;
- Books damaged after delivery;
- Customized or personalized books;
- Author copies or bulk-printing orders produced according to approved specifications;
- E-books, PDFs, or other downloadable digital products once access or download has been provided.
3. Replacement
Where an eligible printed book is received damaged, defective, or incorrect, NOTATION TRENDPLUS PUBLISHING PVT. LTD. may provide a replacement after verification of the claim.
The customer may be required to return the original item before a replacement is dispatched.
4. Refunds
Where replacement is not possible and a refund is approved, the eligible amount will be refunded through the original payment method or another mutually agreed method.
Approved refunds may require reasonable processing time depending on the payment provider or banking institution.
Shipping or other service charges may be non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
5. Publishing Services
Publishing services are customized services. Payments for services already commenced or completed—including editing, proofreading, formatting, typesetting, cover design, ISBN/DOI processing, printing, e-book preparation, publication, distribution, and promotional services—are generally non-refundable, subject to applicable law.
If a publishing project is cancelled before substantial work has commenced, any eligible refund will be determined after deduction of administrative, transaction, and work-already-completed charges.
6. Order Cancellation
Requests to cancel a physical book order should be made before the order enters printing, processing, or dispatch.
Once an order has been printed, customized, processed for dispatch, or shipped, cancellation may not be possible.
7. Shipping Damage
If a package appears damaged at the time of delivery, customers should retain the packaging and provide photographs or other reasonable evidence when reporting the issue.
Claims will be reviewed before replacement or refund approval.
